河合祥一郎によると、『ソネット集』は154篇からなり「1-17 :美青年ら結婚を勧める詩群、18-126: 美青年への愛を歌う詩群、127-152： 黒い女を歌う詩群、153,154:最後の反歌二編」の構成。「有名なソネット18番でシェイクスピアが呼びかけている「君」を女性と誤解してはならない。「君」とは美青年のことを言っているのだと知る必要がある」(河合洋一郎、小林章夫編『シェイクスピア ハンドブック』三省堂 2010)

英語を解せないのに古英語となると、さらにどうなってるのとチンプンカンプン。でも、京都写真展での表記は1609年にした。明日、18日から21日迄の4日間、河合祥一郎による日本語の訳で紹介したい。
